Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Summer is just around the corner, and here at Lions Camp Tatiyee, our team is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to welcome another incredible group of campers! With every program we plan and every bunk we ready, we’re reminded of how special this place is—and how deeply grateful we are for the community that helps bring it all to life. In this month’s newsletter, we’re honored to share the story of Jaykub, a quiet and thoughtful camper whose journey at Camp Tatiyee is a powerful reminder of how a nurturing environment—and the right support—can lead to remarkable growth. With encouragement from his counselor JD, Jaykub found the courage to try new things, from tie-dyeing a shirt to hitting a bullseye in archery (which he proudly talked about all week!). His story shows the importance of patience, understanding, and the confidence that comes from small victories. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Spring is in full bloom, and here at Lions Camp Tatiyee, we’re counting down the days until our campers return for another unforgettable summer! With the season fast approaching, we’re putting the final touches on our programs, preparing for returning friends and new faces alike. This month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Grace, a camper whose story perfectly captures the spirit of Camp Tatiyee. Grace is smart, strong-willed, and determined—a camper who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Camp gave her the space to explore her independence, whether she was racing go-karts with the wind in her hair or stepping onto the talent show stage for the first time. Her journey reminds us that sometimes, growth comes from being truly heard, and that’s what camp is all about. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Happy March! We are excitedly preparing for the 2025 summer season and can already feel the momentum building towards a memorable year. Registration is still open, and we encourage all interested families to apply soon. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Kylee, a bubbly and cheerful camper who made a big impression during her first year at Camp Tatiyee. Kylee thrived in arts and crafts and volleyball, and she formed deep friendships with fellow campers. She’s a lovely example of how camp can bring out the very best in everyone! Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Happy February! We are excited to share that preparations for our 2025 summer season are well underway. We’re busy hiring our staff and getting everything ready to ensure this summer is unforgettable for all our campers. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Josh, a camper who embraced his adventurous side and found a new passion for archery. Josh’s first year at camp was made even more special by his friendship with his counselor, Ethan, who shared his interests in WWE, rap music, and fashion. Josh’s story is a great example of how camp can help participants connect with others and try new things. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
